Workshop on IPv6

NUST-SEECS organized a one day workshop titled “IPv6-Technology, Trends, and Transition” on 23rd December 2010. I

Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6), the Next Generation of the Internet Protocol has recently seen tremendous activity related to its development, implementation and deployment worldwide. IPv6 improves on the older version IPv4 by increasing the number of available addresses, enabling more efficient routing, having simpler configuration, built in IP-security, better support for real-time data delivery, and other essential enhancements.

This one-day workshop is arranged in collaboration with experts from industry (Cisco, Cybernet and IPv6 Task Force Pakistan). This event aims to raise public awareness and provide the opportunity to discuss IPv6 related issues with the domain experts and benefit from their experience.
